Percales

Percale refers to a weave, not a fiber. The notorious thread count question, which is continually debated, was originally meant to measure only percales. A percale must have 200 or more thread counts per inch. Less than that constitutes muslin sheeting.

Anichini percale products are all 100% combed Egyptian cotton. Combing cotton removes impurities and short fibers. Also, all of Anichini sheeting is Made In Italy. The Italians have yet to be surpassed as the best bedding producers in the world.
