The Genuine Article

"The mere mention of the word "cashmere" evokes comfort, warmth, and luxury. Pure cashmere is at the pinnacle of natural wool fibers. Originally, like all textiles, it was woven by hand. With the Industrial Revolution, it began to be produced on looms. Hand loomed cashmere is more luxurious, beautiful, and durable than commercially produced cashmere. Once you have experienced the "Genuine Article" you will understand. Finding hand loomed cashmere today is difficult. Anichini has partnered with a small atelier in Nepal that sources and weaves the finest yarns. The weavers are Indian and highly skilled. Each piece is made one at a time. You will be amazed. Promise."
