ANICHINI launched in 1981 as a company importing sheets from Italy. These original sheets had the look and feel of antiques; many being hand-finished or embroidered. Then we moved on to producing patterned jacquards, for which we are well known. No other country produces sheets like Italy. It is a specialty. There are 3 steps to producing superlative sheeting; weaving the fabric with the finest yarns possible; finishing the fabric to create an exceptional surface or hand; and then meticulously constructing the sheets with no short cuts. Our Villa d’Este collection is comprised of yarn dyed jacquards that have become signature designs and immediately recognizable as ANICHINI. No one in the industry produces bedding at this level of design and quality. Anichini also places a premium on durability. If something is made well, it should last. We receive messages regularly from people who have had a sheet set last for 10 years or more.
We believe that our collection of sheets is the broadest and finest available; from “simple” white high thread count percales to elaborate colorful motifs available nowhere else.
