Huseena brings a quiet graphic quality to undyed natural silk. Hand loomed in northeastern India near Bihar, broad vertical bands emerge through subtle variations in tone, creating a textile with understated pattern and depth.
Because the silk remains undyed, variations in the fiber and its harvest become part of the textile itself. Soft ivory, flax and warm natural tones shift across the cloth, while slubs and subtle irregularities in the weave reveal the hand of the artisan and make every piece unique.
